Helping the Girls of the Congo: Part Two

by

Deborah Rhodes, M.D., a Mayo Clinic physician and director of the Executive Health program describes how this trip to the Democratic Republic of the Congo, introduced in Part One, came to be.

She said, “It was inspired by a visit I had with a patient who came to see me…My patient told me some particular stories of girls and I was nothing short of haunted by these stories.”

In the audio below, Dr. Rhodes also describes building this team and planning the trip.
