Share Your Mayo Clinic Story

You can share your experiences at Mayo Clinic on this site in several ways.

First, you can share your story quickly and easily through a comment on any post on this blog. The comments are moderated according to our participation guidelines.

To tell your story in more depth, you can use video or text.

By Video:

  • You can upload a video to YouTube and let us know about it by email.
  • If you’re on one of the Mayo Clinic campuses we may be able to meet you to record your story on video. When you’re on campus, call and ask for the Sharing Mayo Clinic team, and we’ll try to schedule a time that works with your appointments. Call from any campus phone:
    • In Florida, call 3-2299;
    • In Rochester, call 4-5005;
    • In Arizona, call 2-4222.
  • If you would like to schedule a time to video tape your story in advance of your visit, you also can send us an email with your availability.

By Text: Send your submission as an email to the Sharing Mayo Clinic editors, and we’ll consider it as a separate text post to be added to the blog. Please be sure to include phone contact information so we can get in touch with you.

If you would prefer to share your story on Facebook, you can do so on the wall of Mayo Clinic’s Facebook page.

Please remember that when you post a comment to a blog, it is published for the world to see. For your own privacy and that of your family, you should consider carefully how much detailed personal medical information linked to your name you want published on the Internet.
